fly already

    • In "Arctic Lizard," a young boy narrates a post-apocalyptic version of the world where a youth army wages an unending war, rewarded by collecting prizes. A father tries to shield his son from the inevitable in "Fly Already." In "One Gram Short," a guy just wants to get a joint to impress a girl and ends up down a rabbit hole of chaos and heartache. And in the masterpiece "Pineapple Crush," two unlikely people connect through an evening smoke down by the beach, only to have one of them imagine a much deeper relationship

I want to die but I want to eat tteokbokki

    • "That might be because you’ve often behaved not how you wanted to, but rather out of a sense of obligation, or according to standards you’d invented"
    • "Feelings of envy are very common, it only means you have ideals. But envy coupled with constant comparisons with oneself is something distinct."
    • "Think of it like this; you might like a writer’s book, but when you’re disappointed after meeting them in real life, you throw all their books away."
    • "But when it comes to myself, I think the tiniest flaw will make people leave me."
    • "I equate affection with influence. Because my roots are so weak and shallow, I only feel safe when I exert influence on others."
因为我有这个期待,或者这个标准:need to be ready for your friends
    • "Yes. But again, you can enjoy the freedom of your own thoughts. Instead of thinking, I must not have these thoughts."

the-book-of-ichigo-ichie-the-art-of-making-the-most-of-every-moment-the-japanese-way

    • "remember that each morning we spend in the world, every moment we spend with our children and with our loved ones is infinitely valuable and deserves our full attention."
    • "What can I let go of?"
    • "Practice compassion"
    • "Each person acts according to the moment of personal growth in which they find themselves. Even when they behave in hateful ways, it’s the best they can do with what they have."
    • "Let go of your expectations."
    • "once our desire is quenched, we feel unsatisfied again, because we automatically want what lies one step ahead of us."
    • "the source of unhappiness in desire."
    • "the ideal number is eight six-second hugs a day."
    • "a theme to make it a memorable occasion."
    • "We can experience the present fully only if we aren’t trying to do several things at once."
    • "we’re so mentally active that we can’t reduce our level of stimulation enough to live in the present."
    • "Whatever is happening is the best we can experience, because we are experiencing it now."
    • "The joy of the moment can’t be defined, dissected, understood; it can only be lived."
    • "Every unrepeatable moment is a small oasis of happiness."

Wanted toddlers personal assistant

    • about a uni graduated girl, who worked for the rich to take care of the kids in order to earn enough money for her to live in new york while waiting for her dream job
    • about how the nannies compared with each other
    • “It means that when someone isn’t sure about something you want from them you have to use your words, be patient, and show them how it’s done. Otherwise, you will hurt their feelings and they might not want to do a project with you next time. Okay?”
    • “later asked me, “that the kids call you fat?” I told her no, and when she asked why, I was direct: “Because I am fat. I love food, and that’s why I’m so big.”
    • "Esther might be hired to help, but she treats herself like an equal, and as a result, everyone else treats her that way too."
    • "So, why had I seen this place as a failure? Because I had never been looking for an apartment that impressed me. I’d been looking for one that would impress everyone else."

  • 之间听过的讲座的那句,everyone is on their own life journey. Ia am not the course of this person suffering. Its not eithin my power to makr the person suffering tk go away even thoug I wish I could. Moments like this are difficult to bear, yet I may still try to help if I can

Socrates

What's cooking in the Kremlin From Rasputin

    • If he finds it punishing, or if he doesn't want to learn new things, he should chhange his profession
Mikhail Gorbachev

Thiaooba Prophecy

Romance

  • The seven year slip
  • Sylvia Day
  • The score
  • The authenticity project
